All Day Kitchens Raises $65M Series C to Help Restaurants Conquer Delivery
We’re sharing today that we closed a $65m Series C, led by Lightspeed, to bring All Day Kitchens to more people in more cities. We’re excited to partner with Lightspeed, GIC, and Tishman Speyer this round, as well as existing investors Andreessen Horowitz, Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, and Base10.
Building for Restaurants
Matt and I met at Uber, where we saw first hand the massive opportunity that food delivery presented. But we also saw the challenges and disruption to restaurants that came along with this shift. That’s why we started All Day Kitchens—to help restaurants thrive in the digital era of delivery and pickup.
Over the last few years, our team has had the chance to work with and get to know some amazing chefs and restaurant owners. The common misconception is that the restaurant industry are late adopters of technology. This couldn’t be further from the truth. We’re constantly blown away by the innovative mindset and continual drive for improvement from our restaurant partners. We’re grateful for all that they’ve built on the ADK platform and can’t wait to partner with many more wonderful brands.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create the next fulfillment platform to power food and local delivery. We’re building a network of satellite kitchens that are optimized for delivery and pick up. For restaurants, that means easy, instant expansion. For consumers, that means more great food, closer to where they live. In the next year, we’re going to focus on bringing both sides closer together, both literally and figuratively.
